Recreated a Death Whistle from Aztec era

Originally misconstrued as a toy, it was only 15 years after its discovery that someone blew the whistle, unleashing a scream reminiscent of a human yell. The Aztecs, by mimicking the human larynx structure, had engineered this terrifying contraption which produces oscillating sound waves, projecting a horrifying scream. The actual purpose is still a matter of speculation, but it’s theorized that it might have served to intimidate foes in warfare or acted as a protective amulet during sacrificial ceremonies
